Meetings and involvement
Northumberland Care Trust has its own equality, diversity and human rights committee. We have a senior manager lead and non-executive director lead for this work.
The role of the group is to ensure the Trust board carries out its statutory responsibilities for equality and diversity. This includes a commitment to equality of opportunity, both in employment, procedures and practices which apply to staff and also in the delivery of all our services to the people of Northumberland.
