Staff training
All staff are required to complete equality and diversity training on a minimum three yearly basis. One of the ways in which staff must complete this training is via our E-learning equality and diversity training.

Staff networks
Working together with the North East strategic health authority, equality, diversity and human rights network, Northumberland Care Trust is working hard to set up staff support networks.
Staff network groups provide an opportunity for staff who share one of more aspects of their identity such as their gender, sexual orientation, race and disability status, to communicate, network, meet and support each other.
A website has been launched giving further information about the different networks and provides a wide range of information for staff. View the NHS North East staff networks website.
