Patient and public involvement
Northumberland Care Trust continually reviews the quality of the services it delivers. The care trust consults with the public whenever major service changes are being considered. The following publications are the results of consultations and research undertaken with the public. The reports document the findings and make reccommendations for future action.
- Patient and public involvement in urgent care - North East Unscheduled Care Project (NEUCP), a Department of Health funded project commissioned a consultancy to garner the views of the public on current and potential future service models.
- Carer involvement in research - details the results of a study undertaken by carers trained in research skills to evaluate the effectiveness of the new service.
