Patient and public involvement in urgent care
As part of the final work of the North East Unscheduled Care Project (NEUCP), a Department of Health funded project which aims to develop and facilitate the implementation of a patient focused, integrated model of urgent care across the region, an external consultancy was commissioned to garner the views of the public on current and potential future service models.
The output of the work was a series of focus groups held across the North East strategic health authority (SHA) facilitated by Dearden Consulting with the support of the project staff and local public involvement staff.
The following reports on this work are made available to the region:
Dearden PPI Report 2007 – a PDF version of the final report provided by Dearden consulting on the work carried out in the spring of 2007
