Listening to the people who provide services
A series of events for people providing services, support and community activities for adults regularly take place to explore the implications of personal budgets and self-directed support.
Over 500 care service provider organisations are invited to attend these events which aim to give organisations a better understanding of the national, local and personal context to the changes happening in the adult social care market place.
Since January 2009 members of the transformation team have visited over 80 provider forums and organisations to discuss the principles of Putting People First and self-directed support. We also have a number of providers sitting on our Putting People First Provider Network to help deliver the changes in adult care.
