Who is eligible for personal budgets?
Personal budgets are available to anyone over the age of 18 who is assessed as being eligible for social services support.
To request an assessment contact your local intake team
People who could use personal budgets include:
- People with a learning disability
- People with physical impairement, disability or illness
- People with mental ill health problems
- The elderly
We also support carers. If you have someone who regularly cares for you but does not get paid, we can offer an assessment that looks at support for them. If you'd like more information on the support available for carers please visit the Carers and self-directed support page of this website.
